Gilmore "Model A Day" - Sept 18. 2021

Anyone planning on going?

I live in Grand Rapids and will drive my truck all the way down. Wondering what to expect and how many on average other A's will be there.

After last year when the event had to be cancelled our hope is that lots of people are planning on coming to this years event. There will be great seminars and a very good swap meet for Model A parts.

As far as people and the number of Model A's the expectation is at least 600 and 150 on Saturday. Be sure to tell your friends and bring a few as well!!

I plan to drive over from Minnesota. I have been there for the day twice. It's a good event.
Good Day!

Model A Fords displayed at Gilmores at Hickory Corner, Michigan. What a fantastic place to visit.

Garwood, I'll see you there. Planning to drive my 31 Tudor down from Grand Haven. It is a great event and the Museum and the surroundings are wonderful. You can't go wrong with the Model A days at Hickory Corners!

I was planning to drive the Model A from Massachusetts, but a change in plans will mean taking the modern instead.

If you guys haven’t been before it is quite a treat to see the museum . Your support for maffi is appreciated . You can become a member by visiting maffi.org.
Plan to be there some Friday so you can take in the Gilmore museum complex if you can as well as Saturday. Saturday are the Maffi festivities and seminars.
I’m giving the front axle rebuilding and restoration which will include typical problems, things to look for, what to do and rebuilding. This will include front brakes.
There’s also a swap meet typically held Saturday morning early .
Plan to attend! I hope to see you all there .

This is what the outside of the Model A Ford Museum at Gilmores looks like.
It is a fantastic Museum. An authentic recreation of an original Dealership.

I will add to everyone's comments. It is a great event. The Gilmore is located in a beautiful area. The Model A museum is top notch. There are seminars, a flea market, a car show, and awards ceremony and the other museums at the Gilmore.

The Model A Day at the Gilmore Museum is a top event for Model A enthusiasts.

The Model A museum is a hobbyist's dream. An entire building dedicated to our beloved Model A's.

The Saturday swap meet is amazing. With plenty of room and many willing buyers, I did as good selling parts in one day at this event as in a whole week at Hershey.

For those who have never visited the Gilmore Museum it is an antique car heaven. The original Gilmore barns were wonderful by themselves and now there are individual buildings for Model A's, Cadillac, Franklin, etc. It would take days to see everything but every minute of a visit makes the trip worth it.

It was back in the very early 90's when I was at Gilmore for the first time. I went again a few months ago and was really surprised at how much bigger it is now. Can't wait to go again for the Model A days.
