1940 Wiper Tower
 

I’m reading that there is a difference between the convertible cars and the Sedan-Coupe wiper towers. Will convertible narrow tower fit the Sedan- Coupe cowl. Trying to understand why they made 2 different type tower and if they interchange.

Read everything I can find on the forum and I’ve come down to the base is smaller on the convertible tower. Still haven’t found if the contour is the same where they mount to the the cowl. Anyone know if a convertible narrow base tower will work in place of the wide base coupe style. Also how much narrower the narrow base is.

The convertible will NOT fit in your sedan.

Thank you, that answers my question. Was told the convertible would fit just has a smaller foot print.

Thank you, I found a new set of Drakes on EBay for a convertible. Seller is actually a member here, he thought they might fit sedans also. He advised I do a search here and ask questions. Glad I did guys like you with the knowledge is what makes this forum great.
