Cling's makes a wonderful master cylinder kit that bolts in to your car. No butchering necessary. http://www.clingsaftermarket.com/add...=5000&subcat=1

What limits the braking of a Model A is the small area of contact between the tyre and the road, not how the brakes are applied. The original setup can lock the wheels and decent speed on dry bitumen so how will locking them hydraulically make any difference?
As has been said, a lot of work for not much gain, even a deficit if the car is not used much because hydraulics can seize up through lack of use.

All the OP asked for was a picture, not opinions. Thousands of Model A's and 32-38 Fords have been converted to hydraulic with few of the problems always listed, Chevy and MoPar did it even earlier. JMO

One must understand the difference between a brake rods and brake lines !

I do not consider my wifes 2015 a classic or a antique but her close encounter
coming to a red light and bong brake pedal to the floor her quick thinking
was emergency brake which is mechanical thats positive. A side from rust
prone brake lines, she blew a brake hose. In my book, these hoses are no
where the quality of real hydraulic hoses.

Many mount the M/Cyl on the right side and use the original cross shaft to actuate it.
