Early ford engine mount donuts

Who sells the best early Ford engine mount rubber donuts? I purchased the ones I have from the local early Ford manufacturer not too many years ago & they almost caused disaster this past weekend. They are cracked & perished , collapsed letting starter through bolt gouge hard into Pittman arm & could hardly steer it with my daughter & her new husband on their wedding . I was a little concerned that the steering was going to lock up by the feel & didn't know what was wrong.
I want quality rubber , everything rubber I have purchased from this supplier perishes & rots in a very short time.
Thanks
Cheers
Tony

We have always used Chassis Engineering mount biscuits; they have never flattened and split like the other ones. Not sure what the future will hold, with CE closing the doors.

There's a seller on eBay - staighteightbuick - who has really nice polyurethane biscuits. 15 years and they're still splendid.

I believe Drake sells ones similar to the Chassis Engineering ones.

Tony, would complete new motor mounts, including the rubber biscuits be an option? I just got new ones for my '47, and I think they were produced by Drake. If I missed what you are after here, I apologize!!

Regards...Dick.

Not correct, but hockey pucks last a long time too.

Kiwitony
Read my post the other day regarding the mounts.
I used the bob drake supplied ones on the 33 ,they fitted great and have Ford and the part number cast into the rubber donut,
We are away in the 33 at the moment and it’s WAY smoother ,the motor is realy nice and quieter read less harsh with them fitted.the ones I took out were on the 33 from NZ and I wouldn,t know how old, but they were as hard as a rock.

One of my friends owns a welding/fabrication shop. He buys hockey pucks by the case and uses them for a wide variety of projects. They are amazingly durable.
