Re: Yet another 36 pickup post WOW beautiful '36 Ford Pickup, LOVE IT:):):)
Welcome and THANKS for posting a picture of your '36! You can't beat a '35 or '36 Ford pickup, a sharper looking truck was never built! Only problem with your post is the title wording 'Yet another 36 pickup post' -----no such thing bud, I can't see enough of these trucks!! No way not 'Yet another....'!! We've got a '36 pickup in Washington Blue and as I told another fellow on FB, the only thing about the truck is, the attention it gets. People are constantly pulling up beside me with their phones taking pictures and giving me the thumbs up. Be prepared. You are going to get a LOT of that with this beauty!!! Take care Jeff |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post It's always good to step up.:D
|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post BEAUTIFUL '36 Ford pickup....Enjoy....I love the two-tone colors....Are you in California (I noticed the California plates).

|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Welcome aboard!
Yep, neat little truck for certain. I especially appreciate the fact it's for the most part - stock. You're gonna enjoy this one! |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Welcome to the barn ,a good friend of mine has a 1935 v-8 ,helped him restore it ,it’s true they do draw attention ,but why not the front end alone is enough to make you stare at it well designed and fun to drive ,like a big go-cart ,you have a great looking truck enjoy it
|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Welcome , you have a very nice looking truck! It sure is an attention getter..
|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post I like it

Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Thanks everyone! And yes I’m in central Ca working on getting those YOM plates changed over...
It’s been a ton of fun so far it’s like driving a time capsule I come from a hotrodding background and I’ve really enjoyed taking things slow and cruising a piece of history! |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post A beautiful looking pickup, I see you have an oil filter with your 21 stud V8. Yours is 2 years newer than my '34. Enjoy your "new ride".

Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Hello c10convert,
I have a '36 Ford pickup and live in Modesto, Ca. Where in Central California are you. |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Welcome to the barn, very nice truck, keep the pictures coming.
|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post It's a beauty. Well done.
|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post I really appreciate the steel bed. Not too many restored properly like that.
Kudos! |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Quote:
I see so many high end restorations done where they do the bed floor in wood. To me that takes away from the looks of these trucks and to me, that should dampen the selling price. But it doesn't seem too. Stands out as very wrong when viewing these pickups '35-'36 and even the '37's. |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Yup, Nice. Very, very nice. And, moved over from the dark side, too. Welcome.
|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Very Very NICE !

News on the project front, I just had some Oak planed down at a local mill that I plan on ripping this weekend for sideboards will update with pictures as that progresses... Have a great weekend everyone! |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Congrats on a super looking truck. Sounds like you are having fun with it.
|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post nice truck! i have one also, its an old beater. just a old work truck that has survived!
|
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Beautiful truck! Not to nit-pick but I think the rear bumper is installed upside down.
Adam |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post SWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET RIDE.
Gotta LOVE the TRUCKS!!! |
Re: Yet another 36 pickup post Adam is right... about the rear bumper! Didn't catch that at first! I don't know how we missed that.
Easy to remedy:) Not a big deal and sure not taking away from your '36...she is a beauty. If you ever want to sell it I know a good home it can go to!! |
