48 coupe- 59AB engine what are these holes for? 2 Attachment(s)
Two 3/8-16 threaded holes adjacent to left and right water pumps. What are they for?

Re: 48 coupe- 59AB engine what are these holes for? There is a photo in one of the reprints of Ford service bulletins showing a lift fixture bolted to those same holes to remove and install engines in the '38-'47 COE thru the front of the truck.

Re: 48 coupe- 59AB engine what are these holes for? It appears those same holes are likely used in this pictured operation. Upon second look, these all appear to be POST-'48. Probably on their way to, or coming back from being "spun" by the big electric motors. DD
