A water to rear of block.

I just visited a fellow A owner and looked at his finished chassis and what the builder (Taylor in SoCal) about 8 years ago did was to route water from the rear of the block to the bottom of the radiator. How many of yo guys have made that mod? There was an article some years ago but I can't remember where I read it.

I have seen that done on racing applications.
Another system is to use a water manifold with individual feeds to the bottom of the water jacket of each cylinder.
Lots of ways to do it but definitely not needed on the street.
