Hello and Cartouche Quality Usually I post on the Model A forum but I just bought an all original 27 Coupe that needs a little work to get it safe but I want to keep it as original as possible. It needs a new interior as all that was left was some kind of replacement interioe from the 60s that mice got into.
Anyways, I have heard good and bad things about Mac's Cartouche and was just wondering what the quality and originality with their product is like recently, more so in the past year and a half. I could only find outdated anecdotes from over 10 years ago. I will probably end up with Classitique but is their any other sources besides that and Cartouche? |
Re: Hello and Cartouche Quality There is also a local upholstery shop somewhere around that could do the job.

Re: Hello and Cartouche Quality Cartouche has always been fabricating driver car quality products. LeBaron Bonney was the upper quality fabricator before it went into receivership. Neither were completely authentic but LB tried to be closer to that. Classtique has also tried to be closer to authentic but they have stayed in pretty much just the Model T & A category where LB and Cartouche went a lot farther.

Re: Hello and Cartouche Quality My problem is keeping it look original. Should I splurge for the more expensive correct stuff or should I go with the driver quality stuff for a driver quality car? If it wears, so be it - it will match the rest of the car. The concern I have is of the fitting.
