wood piece at seat riser

on the 30-31 closed cab pickup, how does the bottom piece of wood at the seat back fit and attach?

Are there pictures anywhere showing how the wood fits together?

Not sure what you are asking.Do you mean the piece that goes in the bottom, from side to side? That fits in the center so the seat won't bend.Or,do you mean the 3 pieces that bolt to the back of the cab that also bolts to a lip on the seat riser. Those are less than a couple of feet long.

Thank you for replying. The kit I bought has a piece thats 36 3/4" long by 4 7/8" and is 3/4" thick. It has notches on each end and no holes. Its not part of the three vertical strips...or maybe it is.

To me it looks like the board is the divider board that is in the seat base of the CCPU. The notches at either end are at the top and they give clearance to the seat riser lips. There are screws that come up through the floor pan and into the board.

That's the side to side piece I referred to.As he pointed out to you,the notches go upward,it may have to be trimmed a little. It divides your storage place in half.If you look at your seat riser, where the cushion sits, you should see a spot on each side where the flange is turned up flat. That's where the board sits.I took it out of one of mine so I could have a bigger storage spot.Bad idea,I bent my seat spring a couple of inches down in the middle.

I just realized something.I would have to go out and look, but those notches MAY go down to fit around the edge of the floor pan.If you hold it in place you will get the idea how it works.you can count on some trimming to make it fit.
