I was watching this video on the YouTube and noticed how they positioned it on a lift. It doesn't look right to me.

But I could be wrong. What do you guys think? :p:p

Re: Model A on a lift

That's a terrible and unsafe way to position a Model A on a lift. If the mechanic does not recognize the unsafe act he is performing let alone the damage he can cause to the car he should not be allowed to perform any work on the vehicle.

Ho Lee Cow (that's a Chinese cow)

Good way to kill yourself or at least bend the arms. Take all tools away from that guy.

UGGGHHHH! Typical used car salesman. He tries to give the impression that the car is original - or rather "this thing" is original. I'd never buy a car from someone who talks a stream of jibber jabber like that!
PS Did anybody notice the apron is missing - he didn't.

I saw that video a while ago, and was impressed at how little he knew about a model A, and what he thought were important points. Perhaps he is better with Hondas or Toyotas.

How about the beautiful original silver paint on the bumpers and headlights and where did that upholstery come from. We could go on and on but don't dare walk under it.

Looks like someone with a death wish to me. The pads do not appear to at least even be centered on the trailing arm.

I had no idea those rear radius rods were so strong! :P

That is so super scary! He's very lucky he is still alive.
