1934 left horn mount 1 Attachment(s)
The horn on my 34 standard had been changed at some point. The mount is not similar to the one pictured in the green book. It appears to be a cast piece with the bolt a part thereof. Is this familiar to anyone?

Re: 1934 left horn mount Are you sure that the piece below the two rivets is a casting and not a heavy stamping? The rivets look right as do the thin spring steel attachments to the horn itself and the bolt looks correct as well.

Re: 1934 left horn mount The mount and bolt are not separate. One piece.

Re: 1934 left horn mount Interesting and likely as you surmise, namely not original.

Possibly why the horn seems a bit "tippy."

Re: 1934 left horn mount As well as being the '35 version.

Re: 1934 left horn mount That’s aftermarket. All Ford horn brkts the bolt is seperate. You won’t know till you take off maybe just a lot of paint

These are 33-34 horns .

Another picture. Mount and bolt all one piece. Actually a much nicer mount than the stamped steel original type, IMO. Wonder who would have made it as I believe the cost would have been higher to produce.
