Are these Model T parts? 10 Attachment(s)
Digging in my storage and trying to figure out some parts. Im thinking these are all model T parts but I might be wrong? Appriciate any knowledge that can be shared. The timing gear cover has the ford script and the number 10 casting, would this be for a 1910 engine?

Re: Are these Model T parts? The first 2 not sure. Next 2 fan/generator, flat head V8. Next 4 Generator mount and timing gear cover, 1919 up Model T. Next two horn parts non ford.

First two look like the fan on myDad's 1940 ford 1 1/2 ton truck. |

Re: Are these Model T parts? I'm pretty sure the first two are of a '32 V8 fan. Fairly rare, but yours looks very rough.

Re: Are these Model T parts? The timing cover is 1926-7 only. Earlier covers have a threaded boss for adjusting the fan arm.

Re: Are these Model T parts? good eyes! I didn't see that.

Re: Are these Model T parts? 1 Attachment(s)
tmiller, I have a couple of these and thought there was difference, Thank you for the info.

Re: Are these Model T parts? The casting has a "10" on it, any idea what that would stand for? Possibly a month date?
|
Re: Are these Model T parts? Mold number. When molds were made they would have a number or letter. If flaws were found in a casting that mold could be taken out of service. For example, heads used a letter up by the water outlet and blocks would have numbers on the water inlet side at the front. Not a date thing.
