'33-'34 rear window
 

Does anybody know for sure if the rear window glass from a '33 3-window coupe is the same as on a '34 5-window coupe?

I have an original Ford rear glass from 34 5-W and my friend used it as a pattern for his 33 5-W it did not fit properly (width). Measure twice and cut once, or is it measure once and cut twice?

The glass part number (40-724210) for both coupes for both years is the same. The parts catalogue could be in error (not the first time), but the odds are strongly in favor of it being correct.

Terry and David,
A friend is assembling his '34 5-window, and has an original rear glass out of another friend's '33 3-window to use a possible pattern, but he can't get it to fit good. He's curious if the problem is the glass size, or with his body.
