Re: wing window stenciling 1930 deluxe roadster I am assuming that question here is regarding the decorative stenciling one sees displayed on wing windows. Regarding the bug/identification marking, I recall the Standards calls out a date when the wings started getting marked. I’m also not sure if the wings are safety glass or not on the Roadsters.

Re: wing window stenciling 1930 deluxe roadster Plain white CONTACT paper, over the glass, draw a design, cut it out with an X-ACTO knife, sand blast it, bead blast it, or blast it over a cheap Spark Plug Cleaner, peel off the CONTACT paper & VOILLE', You have professional looking STENCILING!----(God, that wuz a LOOOOOONG sentence!)
ALSO, those regular air nozzles, with a hose to suck solvent, can be used for Sand-Blasting. Just drop the hose in a Big Jar, fill it with Sand & it works QUITE well, for small jobs. Bill Artiste' |
