I can’t seem to reply to want ads. I get a message that I don’t have the permissions. I’ve been inactive for some time now.

Don't feel bad. The changed the software so nobody can respond to the ads. Send a PM to the person.

You need to click on the posters name and send a PM or email. The direct reply via the classifieds was deleted about 10 years ago.

That’s the issue. You can’t respond or send a pm unless you have the magic number of 10 posts.

I'm having the same problem too. Every time I see something for sale I can't respond because I have few posts. Perhaps this post will get me closer to the magic number required to allow me to participate.

If you posted a couple of posts about yourself, your car, some tools or questions about anything, you would reach the magic number of 10 posts or above.
