John:

Very good!

If you are under the age of 22 you are eligible for two Model A youth financial grants.

The first is the Model A Youth Restoration Award. Go on line and Google this and it will tell you all about it, and provide an application. The award is in the form of gift certificates from the major suppliers. Local clubs support the program with money donations that are used to purchase the gift certificates, the suppliers then match it. The next awards will be given out in the summer of 2016 at the MAFCA meet. All eligible youth are given an award. In the past the value of each award has been around $1500.

The second is the Model A Youth Scholarship. If college is in your future you can apply for this also. The award is $1,000 per year for four years as long as you are attending college. You can also Google this one for information and an application. This award is given out every year based on the amount of money collected by the donors. Usually three or four awards are given each year. Applicants are choses on a competitive basis, with a number of parameters considered, one being participation level in the hobby, which you certainly have a leg up.

This makes one realize that there are still young people out there who are true visionaries and there it still hope for our youth. This young man and many other young men and women out there will hopefully bring this country back in line by getting out there and letting others know they exist.. Seems we just never hear about them.

I'm proud just to tell other oldsters about you John.. :o

John,

What a great clip. I know you are very proud of the AA and is also great that you know the history.

I watch RFD TV a lot but must have missed this one.

Good job John.

So how did your date like the ride?

Pluck

Awesome job John!! You're an amazing and unusual young man. I met a teen about 8-10 years ago ( farm kid), that did a mid fifties caddy for his senior project.
We had a single mom with a boy that our club was helping restore a coupe, but he lost interest, and the project died. As I said, you are an unusual man.

Tom:
You need to see this, this young man gives me hope for the future.
Seems not all of this/his generation are POS, a few hundred million more of young people like this is what America needs.
