Stock 1938 Ford Tudor sedan Will putting 650/16's on the rear and 600/16's on the front look OK on my stock 38 or should I just go ahead and put 600/16's all around? I'd like to give it a little rake but the 650's have a 4" white wall and the 600's a 3". 650's are maybe 3/4" taller.
I don't plan to lower it at this time but who knows. Any input appreciated. It's got the V860 and is stock all around with a flat satin black paint job and stock hub caps. |
Re: Stock 1938 Ford Tudor sedan The 38 is fine looking car, I think your choice of tires should suit you. I think it would look good. IMHO.

Re: Stock 1938 Ford Tudor sedan Oh come on! Why don't you go just a bit bigger on the rear? As Carl Kohler used to say, "If some is good, more is better, and too much is just enough".

Re: Stock 1938 Ford Tudor sedan I have a Tudor, love the look. And big rear, little front is always look good!

Re: Stock 1938 Ford Tudor sedan Your stock rims are 3.5" wide, which takes a 5.5" tire. 6.00" tires will work on this rim, but you would need to up the rim size to 4.0" to go with the 6.50" tires.
