Brake Adjusting Wedges?

3 Attachment(s)
I purchased new brake adjusting wedges. I don't like the looks of them as the grooves are very shallow compared to a good old one. What do you gus think?

The wedge with the black threads is an original. The new ones have silver threads. The groves in the original measure 0.035" and new ones measure 0.010".

I think they would be fine. It doesn't take much to keep them from turning. In fact I got my rods a little too beveled on one wheel and they are tough to turn the adjuster.
