Mechanical brake rods 1 Attachment(s)
Is there someone out there making new mechanical brake rods ? Also , is
There a chart listed showing lengths for the different years? I am working on a 1932 Pickup and just installed a Flathead Ted brake kit and found one of the Rear rods has a poorly repaired end that was brazed rather than welded. Thanks, Dave |
Re: Mechanical brake rods Looks like a easy tig fix. I do not have dimensions or source. Welding over brazing sucks, it needs to be removed to tig over.
btw uncle buck is one of the best movies. John Candy so good. Remember you before the fordbarn reset of 2010. 3 yrs or so after Shelly. Useless info to add. |

Re: Mechanical brake rods Thanks everyone! Don , that's a very helpful chart. Of course Barnfind08 messaged me, and he has NOS rods available. I almost messaged him before posting the question. It's not the first time he's bailed me out. lol
