AA truck radiator question Is the radiator normally used in an AA wider front to back than a standard Model A radiator??

Re: AA truck radiator question Yes and no. In April 1930 they went to a wider 4 row of tube radiator.

Re: AA truck radiator question So, would the radiator on a 1931 measure wider than a standard A.
I have a radiator shield that measures about 4" on a top measurement. The other standard A's in the shop measure 3 1/4" on a top measurement front to back. The radiator shield around the AA radiator has a big 1" gap in front of the radiator, making me think it is a car radiator. |
Re: AA truck radiator question 1 Attachment(s)
This is a AA radiator shell that takes the thicker radiator, notice no widows peak.

Re: AA truck radiator question Thats what I have on the truck in my shop. I noticed it when we reinstalled the radiator and shell today

Re: AA truck radiator question The four core radiators are exactly the same width as the three core.
|
Re: AA truck radiator question Hight and width are the same. Thickness is a different story.
|
Re: AA truck radiator question I own a 31 AA and the radiator is thicker, thus the reason for the wider shell.
