32 Model B Slow Starting after storage, Solved

After having my car in storage over the winter months, it was difficult to get started. This year, I didn't get back to the car until this month. This year I checked over the distributer and checked the spark plug gaps. Then I got the idea to turn over the car for about 30 seconds with the plugs out. The engine turns very fast with the starter. Sure enough, with everything back together, and the gas pumped to the carburetor, the car started immediately. Such a simple solution to the slow starting problem. Ed

My guess would be, spinning over with plugs out allowed fuel to be pulled through quickly and carb body full. Then with plugs refitted away it went??

PLUS, getting oil circulated back into the nooks and crannies without a whole lot of friction on the moving pieces does it good and helps it too!!!!
