Need Phaeton length
 

Hi:

Does anyone know the overall length of a '29 phaeton (with trunk)? I'm currently many miles away from mine and need to know the length.

Al,
I suspect it depends on the size of the trunk. Are all trunks the same size? I doubt it. The length from bumper to bumper in The Model A Handbook is 155 5/32". I assume the trunk protrudes a foot or more past the rear bumper. I have a 29 phaeton, but it is disassembled and has no trunk.

Al, My 1929 Phaeton is a total of 167 inches from the trunk to the front of the front bumper. The trunk and rack extend 16 inches past the rear bumper, with the trunk being 13 inches deep.
