Rear Fender Identification Help 11 Attachment(s)
Trying to identify a set of rear fenders before offering them for sale. Believe these are off Model A but not sure which year/model. Can anyone help?
I can take additional pictures if they would be helpful. Thanks - Hunter |
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help mmm Appear to be 30 coupe and truck.
|
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help I'm not sure about correct measurements but it looks a little too narrow to be a coupe fender . My guess is deluxe phaeton rear fender .
|
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help Looks like a wide body, what is width across top?
10 inches, would be like my wide body fenders. Will look at mine. |
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help Bob what is a wide body? Do you mean wide bed PU?
It is not a wide bed. Purdy, dlx phaeton is same as coupe with extra skirt for valance Looks like a coupe/rdstr to me |
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help When I measure from inside lip to outside lip at top of fender, it is 11 inches. For comparison the same measurement on my 29 coupe fender is 11 7/8. So it is about an inch narrower.

Measurement from inside lip to outside lip at top of fender.
Really appreciate everyone trying to help. Hunter |
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help 10.5 " is a wide body pickup rear fender. Wonder what a station wagon, or a mail truck might be.
|
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help I may be wrong but I think that the station wagon uses the same fenders as a tudor .

Re: Rear Fender Identification Help Hello,
The fender you have there look to be Correct for AA service Car and or AA panel Delivery. I am interested in the set. Please message me. |
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help FYi: Look at the outer bead... Looks like a 32 wide bed pickup fender to me. Does not appear to have the 1/2" wide bead. Need more closeup photos and measurements. Wide bed 31 fender measures 12 inches from inner to outer. Coupe/ Narrow bed measures 14 inches from inner to outer.
Hope this helps. Good luck Rick |
Re: Rear Fender Identification Help Odd one to me. Looks like a Coupe or Roadster but it's too narrow. Plus the rolled edge looks like a Aftermarket fender as it's not rolled nicely and it's missing the fine lines along the rolled part. Kind of looks like a Tudor fender but it doesn't have the rear extension panel. Got me on this one!!!
