Final report on Blast cabinet Gloves I think we have found a winner as far as Blast cabinet gloves go.
if you remember I asked for a good Quality glove. as the ones I was using the quality went to S**T & I could only get 1 week use before they had to be replaced. So on Yoyodyne sugestion I tryed one from -Zero he was correct they are "GREAT" Started using on 6/30/12 today is 8/25/12 Darn close to2 month's use and to look at the glove it is hard to see any ware at all. So the $35.00 was well spent. With this test I did nothing different then I was before trying to be as fair as I could be. VERY PLEASED :D :D :) :) BILL W |

Re: Final report on Blast cabinet Gloves Thanks Ken I think that is the carbide nozzle.Do you use sand or what in your blaster for media.I have bought sand from the rent-all place in town but someone told me to use Black magic or something like that from Northern tool. They say it works better Thanks Flatmotor40

flatmotor I use the Black magic it is a little more aggressive then sand & does not powder or turn to dust as fast it does not leave a satin finish but I am not looking for that type finish. BILL W |
Re: Final report on Blast cabinet Gloves Thanks I"ll go up to Northern and get a couple bags

Re: Final report on Blast cabinet Gloves I just looked at mine and they have no seam between the sleeve and glove. Mine are in 2 halves, stitched along the length and around the edges of the fingers, like regular gloves. Rubber on the outside, cloth lining on the inside. I'm pretty sure mine are no more than 2 years old, and this is how they've been for years, so either one of us has another brand or Zero changed how they make them. I buy mine from Precision Finishing and I just assumed they were Zero because that's where I bought my Zero cabinet.
Next time I buy some, I'll ask, but it will be a while. Link to Precision Finishing - http://www.precisionfinishinginc.com...ufacturers.php They handle quite a few mfgrs, could easily be another brand. |
