Delete want ads

How about deleting "want to buy ads" after 3 weeks.
I've answered several ads, with the response "oh I already found that"
No one takes the time to up-date or delete their ads.

Re: Delete want ads

I have had my want ad up since 3/16/13. I still want it. I would like to think if someone runs across what I am looking for and remembers my ad they could find it by searching. I just look at new ads as they appear, why are you going back and looking at the old wanted ads? Please just stop responding to old ads if it bothers you and we will both be happy. When I finally find it I will probably add "FOUND IT" to my ad.

FYI here is my ad:

1931 California commercial license plates (they have the small letters PC on the plate) for my 1931 RDPU. Prefer DMV clear for YOM use but will consider uncleared or single plates.

I bump it every now and then but hopefully not often enough to be annoying.

Charlie, how I approach the want ads is my business.
You take care of yours, I'll handle mine.

If I offended you I apologize that was not my intention. You were suggested that ads like mine for something that is difficult to find be deleted and that was what I was objecting to and trying to point out alternatives to removing ads for the really hard to find parts. It may not have come across the way I intended it and for that I apologize.
