Chickasha Swap Meet- Staging area changes? I read here many months ago that the staging area on Wednesday would be no more. That all vendors would enter at 7am on Thursday with no staging area on the fairgrounds.
I need the scoop, to determine to arrive Wednesday or Thursday. Meet was pretty much over by noon on Thursday. Like to here from a space holder. |

Re: Chickasha Swap Meet- Staging area changes? There was no major change. Vendors lined up in the lot on Wednesday as usual, and entered the grounds at 4 PM to set up, as usual. I hear the Erslands took so many gripes about the gate police and their hands-on management of the line-up last year that this time they decided to lay off and let folks do it on their own, which they did with no glitches that I could see. After all, most of the sellers have been doing this for years, and they know what to do. I sent Susie an email, and I'm going to suggest to her in person, that they put the vendor information on their website and perhaps cancel out some of the rumors that have people upset about changes that haven't happened.
