TT Hi/Lo trans??
 

Did the TT trucks have what is called a hi/lo transmission??
i have what looks like would fit with square drive shaft.

The TT's had the same two speed transmission as the T. There were several aftermarket transmissions and rearends that were available, both two and three speed. Dave

Yep high low as known as the Twin High too.

Aftermarket for the trucks, allowed the 2 speed TT truck to run faster or slower if hauling a bigger load.

Warford made a transmission that bolted on the rear of the T power unit. A shortened driveshaft was necessary. It offered underdrive, direct, and overdrive. It was not synchronized, so if you got it caught in neutral on a hill, it was tough to get back in gear while coasting, and of course you then had no brakes.
