29 Front Fenders

I have a 29 pickup and want to replace the front fenders. I am looking at purchasing them from Gaslight Auto and was wondering what kind of experience others have with these new fenders.
Do the fit properly?
Any had problems with damage during shipping?
I am also concerned with the cost of shipping. Can anyone tell me how much shipping would be to western Colorado or around that area.
Any help would be appreciated. Larry

Re: 29 Front Fenders

Before spending tons of money on new fenders that will still need some tweaking (although '28-29 front fenders are better than the repo '30-31 versions) and very expensive shipping from the Midwest, check with Bert's Model A Center in Englewood, Colorado. Steve Becker probably has decent '28-29 front fenders running out of his ears. His quality is always high and his prices fair. 303-293-3673.
Also place a classified ad in the "Wanted" section of this website. Some lurker in Colorado or nearby Nebraska may have what you need.

Larry, I am pretty sure these fenders are still out of production at this time. I have several sets on back-order and have not heard of a delivery date. Maybe other vendors have received some but you better check first.
