Show in Wisconsin

Obviously very late notice to post this, but there is a nice show at Baer Park in Cross Plains, WI tomorrow 9/18/21. This is in southern WI just west of Madison. It is called the Hill and Valley show and it is geared toward the old stuff (T's and A's).

There is a one hour tour where the cars line up and go for a drive in the surrounding hills and farmland, it is a lot of fun. I'll be there with my '30. It's not a big show, perhaps 50 cars or so go on the tour, and another 50 or so later model cars probably show up.

Just an FYI if anyone is in the midwest looking for something to do tomorrow.
Here's a video someone made of the show in 2018.

That is a great show. I had been going for over 10 years. A close friend Don Chandler had been instrumental in keeping that show fresh with many cars, tractors, and other interests. Unfortunately I am unable to attend this year.

How was the H & V Show this year?

I was also a regular attendee there for years and thought it was a wonderful event with so many things to see and do. Lots of Brass era T’s usually ventured out for this as well. As mentioned, Don Chandler was a major spark plug for pulling off this show…. Kudos to the Madison, WI clubs that host it….

Unfortunately we had a schedule conflict so I missed this show and Gilmore this year. The 45th annual Autorama in Beloit, WI was also held this past Sunday. It was canceled due to COVID last year…. They had a record number of show cars this year (~1200 vehicles) with a bunch of Model As both stock and highly modified….
