rochester 2g's on a Y-block edelbrock 3x2 intake Has anyone tried to adapt the Rochester 2g carbs to an Edelbrock 3x2 intake manifold. I am curious if it can , or has been done. I am tired of fighting these Holly 94 carbs, and their sensitive fuel pressure problems and the temperamental vac. signal problems. Anyone, anyone have any thoughts?

Re: rochester 2g's on a Y-block edelbrock 3x2 intake Paul, if I go ahead and try this , that will be the way I go. My brother is a machinist, and has his own mill, and lathe.

Re: rochester 2g's on a Y-block edelbrock 3x2 intake I assume you are considering the older, small base 2G. Check to see if there is room for three on the manifold. With almost twice the flow of a 94, two should be plenty on a mild engine.

Re: rochester 2g's on a Y-block edelbrock 3x2 intake If you can still find the small 283 size, they make a wonderful carb for a three two intake.

Re: rochester 2g's on a Y-block edelbrock 3x2 intake 40cpe, and Ole Don. Yes, the older 2g from an early 283 with the small throttle bore's are what I had in mind. The spacing on the manifold may be the only problem.
