1927 Model T Touring, clutch pedal operation help

I bought a 1927 Model T touring that been supposedly sitting in a barn for the last 10 years, been going through everything so I can attempt to try and start this thing, I know nothing about Model T's.
Watching videos of how to start a Model T it shows that if you pull the hand lever part way back it pushes in on the clutch , I took the cover off the transmission and can see how that works and that it is working, pull it all the way back and it sets the parking brakes, I see that that is working, it also pushes the clutch pedal back a bit, looks like that is working.
With the hand lever all the way forward I would think I press on the clutch pedal part way to push in the clutch and push the clutch pedal just a smidgen more to tighten up the band for low gear?
When I push on the clutch pedal in it pushes in the clutch and tightens the low gear band at the same time, is this correct?
Can anyone point me to a video that shows this working.

Your help is greatly appreciated,

That is how it works. Before you start the car you should buy a few manuals concerning your car. The first should be an owners manual that is republished and sold by the shops that sell T parts.

It is a high speed clutch. The clutch is disengaged when in low or reverse, bypassed. So yes that is correct.
