Old stock ? I am cleaning up a bunch of old stock from a long closed country garage, started sorting today. Not a huge amount of Ford stuff, more mixed. Is there any desire for standard size Ford engine bearings ? Seems like most guys would want under and over sizes. Valve springs like I have never seen before,(lots) Too many items to list on here but inquiries will be answered.

Re: Old stock ? Hello,
I am looking for a right hand exhaust manifold (78-9430) and an intake manifold (78-6520) for my 37. Thanks, gregg |
Re: Old stock ? I have a intake manifold that was on a 21 stud in a 38 Ford. Any help to you?

Re: Old stock ? Guess what I forgot to mention was the fact that this stuff has been picked over a few times before I found out about it. Make for "slim pickins" now but I'm having a lot of fun just the same . Old valve grinding machine and other tools be of any use or or should I forget I saw these and walk on by ? Some big truck stuff in the mix but I can not identify what it is.

Re: Old stock ? Bill,
That should fit the bill. I believe 37 and 38 had the same intake. Do you know if it is aluminum or cast iron? Thanks, gregg |

Re: Old stock ? “Green Book” only lists cast iron 33 -48 as a replacement for AL. Manifold is about 45 mi at my former location - I will check it out next Monday and reply to you. How can I contact you?

Bearings are a funny thing. Standard would be good for those buying new cranks. Sometimes NOS bearings are stored poorly and they are no good. King-brand seems to the top of the line in bearings these days and a new set can be had for around $220 for mains and rods. Something to think about that when pricing NOS stuff. Regarding tools: Absolutely pick that stuff up. |

Re: Old stock ? Remember one thing, depending on how much you pay for it, it might take you several years of selling the parts just to make your money back. Many of the parts will be difficult to identify (sell) but I would give it a shot if price is good and I was 20 years younger.
