Re: Posting pictures 2 Attachment(s)
Here's a second rendition as it appears on my screen.
Click "manage attachments" then "choose attachments" then "upload" https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attac...1&d=1594141009 https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attac...1&d=1594141009 |
Re: Posting pictures Sorry about the blurry pics, tried twice to upload and it shrinks them ridiculously.

Re: Posting pictures Don't feel bad. It's as clear as mud to me too. Never could figure it out after many attempts.
How do you get to the "Plus" sign??? |
Re: Posting pictures I have used Will D's method. I have never seen that "+" sign on my PC.

Pretty sure that "+" is on his phone. DD |

Re: Posting pictures 8 Attachment(s)
There are different ways to do it. Here is the method I use.

Re: Posting pictures Lawson: you also need to crop your pictures so they are small enough to load.

Seery…..You've put together an EXCELLENT tutorial here for posting pictures from one's computer. It might be cool if you could put-together another tutorial for posting URLs (pictures already posted SOMEWHERE on Al Gore's internet)....the little 'yellow square' with the two mountains. It's sorta funny....many of these folks having trouble posting pictures have figured-out how to post a personal avatar. It's probably easier to post a picture in a thread. PICTURES ARE NOT HARD TO POST HERE!!! DD |
Re: Posting pictures These are the 4 steps I use when loading a properly sized pic from my computer.

Re: Posting pictures I think the real question should be, how do you make a larger picture file less than 500 Kb ? That's the issue for my dumb butt anyway.

Re: Posting pictures I have trouble posting more than 1 picture. If I do more I only get the last one.
Possibly my mini I-pad is too outdated. It is SO Simple on The Hamb!!!!!! |
Re: Posting pictures Lawson, if you successfully passed Perpetuities you should be able to figure out how to post a photo.;)

Now THAT is funny as hell, yet oh-so-true! DD |
Re: Posting pictures There are any number of software programs that will reduce a photo file size. I use MS Photo Manager, but it is difficult to load on your computer unless you are using an older MS Office package. I downloaded an app on my phone to edit photos. Sure someone can suggest some programs that they have had success with. There are claims that emailing a file to yourself will work, but think it depends on what systems you are using, I never had much success with that.

Re: Posting pictures My phone email gives option to resize (large)70% (medium)30% (small)10%
Sometimes the upload will automatically resize. I always try to upload it the way it is and if it says it can't upload then I manually resize thru email. |
Re: Posting pictures Thanks for all the suggestions. I am certainly not hi-tech. Noah used my computer on the arc. I traded him some dryer sheets for it. LOL. I'll just have to give my email address out with an ad and tell folks I'll email pictures if they want them.

Re: Posting pictures Quote:
Posting pictures is really no more difficult than emailing them once you've worked your way through it - and definitely less time consuming. Go to the Test section and play around. What software is on your computer? What program do you use to view photos filed on your computer? |
