hiccup

I have a problem. My all stock 8ba in my 53 ford between shifts hiccups also when I decelerate then hit the gas it bucks like it stalled. I use 87 octane .This has been a problem fro many years . I just got fed up. After a while even old Jarheads have had enough.

Mike, Unless you can do it yourself, have one of the pros on Fordbarn fix it correctly. They have the correct parts and knowledge. You will not regret it and you will be able to enjoy your car.

Make sure the linkage to the accelerator pump hasn't popped out of the hole.
