1934 Rear spreader Bars does anyone know the difference between a 1934 Ford Victoria spreader bar and a 1934 regular spreader bar? Thank YOu

Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars It does not have the bracket for the spare tire mount. That mount bolts directly to the trunk lid.

Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars Not sure, but it MAY also have the rear body support brackets as used on PU,
Panel Delivery, Sedan Delivery and Wagon, since the Victoria body also extends further to the rear than do "normal" passenger bodies. |

As I suspected EXCEPT the rear body supports are not the same as others I mentioned; and look to end up lower down and a little further forward, which is not surprising... This is unique to the 34 Victoria; 33 probably different... R. |
Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars Thanks to all that replied, they were all very helpful. Thanks for the picture, it turns out that the one I have is for a Victoria. Again I appreciate all the responses.

Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars Thanks to all of you. It turns out to be for a 1934 Rear Spreader Bar for a Victoria.

Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars Anybody have a picture of a sedan delivery spreader bar?

Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars Dick
I dont suppose that you still have the 34 vicky spreader bar shown in your pic and would consider selling it and/or a 34 vicky rear tire carrier ------------ had to ask --------- thanks |

You could probably make one just weld the pickup mounts onto a sedan bar

Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars This is a 2010 thread. Sure is interesting to see Dick's post, really missed.

Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars Ditto on missing Dick. I used to talk to him at Hershey.
I fixed a more screwed up 34 sedan delivery then the one pictured and I took a pickup bar and welded a mount on it to match the body like suggested. You could also take a common one and cut the spare mount off and then weld on the body mount. Get the body on the frame and make that last body mount on the spreader match the body. |
Re: 1934 Rear spreader Bars There the same as a Woody spreader arnt they
