Prewar Ford V8 pickups

This week I was watching 2 prewar Ford V8 flathead pickups on EBAY #1 a 1938 Ford pickup in Calif in driving condition offered at no reserve was bid up to about $8250 when it was pulled with days to go and marked as sold and #2 a 1941 Ford V8 pickup former senior status with AACA with buy it now price of $27900 was pulled and marked as sold , I guess somebody is still wanting these early prewar Ford V8 pickups !

What??? Like there's something NOT to love about them? ok, the enclosed driveline, but that is IT for me......I think a '34 would be my holy grail pickup, but a 33 or 35 would do in a pinch.

I'd be okay with a 1929 Model A pickup with a flathead v8 stuffed in it.

Working on a 35 BUT if a driver showed up that I could get into and drive with maybe a couple fix ups I could be interested. Mine is a ways off but is all steel and most of the heavy stuff is done. or a 32 5 window trunk model!! kx

Pre-war pickups are "great" and fun to drive. They don't go fast but they get you there. Have had my for 50 years and restored it in 2007.

Try to find an unrestored '35 pickup. Glad I found mine when I did.

Edit: Felix, would like to see more pics, engine, etc., if you have them.
