Mice eliminator This is simple. First plug up all holes into the garage if you can. Where you can't plug them up, like at the end of an overhead door, place a plain old snapper trap up against the wall near the hole, trigger side against the wall. Don't need any bait. When the mouse comes in it will walk along the wall and across the trigger. The end.

Re: Mice eliminator We have a good mouser, or should I say Voler, because we have lots of voles. I let her in the basement every so often to clean them out. Just like mice they like to chew holes in things.
Only problem is some times she gets the birds off of my wife’s feeders. :( |

Re: Mice eliminator I have Tupperware containers with water, cotton and peppermint oil (a good amount). The lids have holes. I place them inside the cars and no mice poop inside or around the cars.
I have a big barn with space for 3 cars. It is impossible to avoid mice inside the barn in winter. But at least they do not go inside the cars or around them. |
Re: Mice eliminator My lady friend has a sailboat and had a rat on it. She leaves
a light on the floor and says that keeps them away?? G.M. |

Yes! Mice do not like light. I also have a "light rope" with LEDs inside it like you would use for holiday decorations and string that along the floor inside of the overhead garage doors. That and the mouse traps at the bottom corners of the doors pretty well keeps them out. I just check the traps every couple of days and they do the job for getting uneducated mice who never make it to the lights. I also put some Fresh Cab inside the cars. That is basically crushed up balsam needles and twigs and is endorsed by the local farmers who hang a bag in their combine cab. Where I live, mice are a farm's best second crop! :) |
