Re: Death of Dan Krehbiel Dan was a gentleman. He gave me a generator core that I needed for Ed Whitney to convert to an alternator that I could take home in my carry on luggage. Had some interesting looks as it passed through the scanner at the airport. Dan freely shared his early Ford knowledge and will be missed. Ted

Re: Death of Dan Krehbiel A truly fine human being - wonderful guy. He built my 2-speed Columbia a while back. I traveled from the East coast to Temecula and spent a day with him - got a tour of his cars and parts barn, he shared many stories with me, met his lovely wife and we all had dinner at a local restaurant. He will be greatly missed by all.I was privileged to know Dan.

Re: Death of Dan Krehbiel I hope this post is not inappropriate for the Ford Barn. Just an FYI that Dan’s 39 Tudor is listed on the Early Ford V-8 Club’s classified section. I’m helping Dan’s wife sell this car and the hope is it goes to a good V-8er. If you knew Dan, you know how he maintained his cars, “as Henry Built it”. If you know someone looking for a good one, please let them know. Thanks

Re: Death of Dan Krehbiel Dan gave me a pin Columbia on it. It is Special to me. I will tell you a story. Im bought some Columbia Parts from him and when they came also a bill. I sent him a check that day. Two weeks later Dan call me and ask me if I sent a check. I said yes, Another two weeks later I call Dan and no check. So I sent another check and Dan got it. Bill Paid. 6 months later Dan gets the first check in the mail. Dan called me and we both had a laugh about it. Dan sent me a Columbia Pin in the mail.I always wonder where that check was?
