I thought that too, looks nice. How did they mow fairways and stuff at golf courses back then?

I spoke with a fellow today (77 y/o) who's grand father or uncle worked for mr Ford in his garage and also took care of flower beds around his home. He said he had seen photos of the grounds that his relative had of his work there.

My dad wasn't born yet when the photo above was made and the roads around here were like logging roads. Most lawns that didn't have a goat were hayfields.
