Carb Question

I disassembled my Holley 94 carb and I noticed that the Pump Discharge Nozzle has a ball at the end of one nozzle and not at the end of the other nozzle. Is this normal?? thanks in advance

Re: Carb Question

Accelerator pump? There is one ball below the nozzle assembly.

Re: Carb Question

No, the "pump discharge nozzle", shaped like a "Y"

Re: Carb Question

That ball appearing end of the pump nozzle may be just a cap to close the end of the nozzle. The nozzle bars are on both sides of the pump discharge nozzle.

Re: Carb Question

Like Terry,OH said, it's probably just a different plug on one side. The nozzle holes are drilled on a downward angle before the end plugs. As long as it squirts out of both holes and not out the end plugs, it's good.

Do these pictures help?

Re: Carb Question

That's what I'm used to seeing. The end caps are small recessed caps. I guess it's possible someone plugged one with a ball on one side.

Re: Carb Question

That makes sense, I’ll bet that’s exactly what happened.
Thanks all
