Shipping car from Canada to US

Looking for the name of a reputable company that will ship a car from Burlington Ontario Canada to Chicago.

With restrictions currently in place that may be difficult. It's usually best to check with a broker that can inform you about customs paperwork involved. It could be complicated.

I just sold a '64 F100 and it went from N.W Indiana to Canada. The buyer had to jump through a lot of hoops and red tape. Pictured below grabbed from my video was the shipping company. Driver told me all they do is international shipping. He had 6 vehicles including mine going from the US to Canada.

If the seller is from Canada, put it on them to contact a broker. It's really not that difficult but just have to make some calls. Yes I've done it. As far as a transport company I'm not much help. Sorry

Livingston Internationsl did a great job for me; if the car was originally manufactured in the US, it’s a piece of cake

Im not sure going south but when cars are purchased to come to Canada... we just fill out the paper work 3 days prior to the boarder crossing, pay taxes and cross the line. Our side we can fill out the papers ourselves without getting fleeced by a company doing paperwork

I used TFX about a year ago. They charged $500 plus costs. At the time couldn't fly in to Canada and drive it back myself. Had to pay 2.7% duty and some other fees. Was expensive to get the car to the border as well. TFX provided transport from Victoria BC to Seattle. Got another lower cost shipper from Seattle to Texas.

I used US Canada Auto Transport, mostly happy although there was some delay mid way. After it crossed the border I was informed that they were waiting for a second driver to agree to bring it the rest of the way. It caused about a 1 week delay and apparently could have been much longer. It would have been good to know that there could be delays like this ahead of time.
