Roadster Top Tie Down Would anyone like to share if or how they are securing their roadster top when it is down, to prevent flutter/rattling?
Thanks... |
Re: Roadster Top Tie Down I put the boot on it it rides fine.

Re: Roadster Top Tie Down Originally there were straps that attached onto footman loops located on the front top bow and hooks that attached to the top rest brackets located on the panel above the rumble seat lid.

Re: Roadster Top Tie Down Macs auto gives a good picture of the footman loops. I have an original set on my 28 roadster. Will try and take a picture of then in a few days. Trying to get better, caught covid.

Re: Roadster Top Tie Down Hello, on my 31 roadster, the top shows some wear at the point where the rubber top rest is against the fabric. If it had a top boot this would have been avoided , it also has no straps to keep it from moving in down position, the few times I have driven it I just remove the entire top , only four screw mechanisms hold it on and go topless.
