My son lost a classmate and friend in this national tragedy. My middle son was also in the air in the midst of the planes hitting the towers. Thankfully he was not on the ill fated planes. But the initial fear and panic we felt was and will live within us forever. God bless those that lost their lives and the first responders that when facing danger attempted to rescue survivers. As far as those that reveled with glee on that fateful day.....well kiss my American ass. God bless America!!!!!!!

I heard a N Y C fireman say on the radio today that fire & rescue from every state came in the days following and that some of them were made sick by breathing "stuf" ......
GOD BLESS OUR WONDERFUL FIRE, RESCUE AND EMT FOLKS !!!!!!!!!!!

Re: 9/11

My United States of America flag was up at half staff at sun rise, and lowered at sun set.
At 3 locations today fire engines from 3 cities used their aerial ladders to raise the United States flag over the highway overpasses. One overpass had members of the National Guard along side firefighters. I flashed the high beams and layed on the horn as I passed each location. And 6 hours later, I did the same thing on the return trip. The sad news is, that it looked like I was the only one responding.

God Bless those who have given their lives, and God Bless those who's job it is to protect us!

I agree wholeheartedly with all the above. The chair I was sitting in that morning is just off to my right. That horrific event was many of our ' Pearl Harbor.'

What a terrible loss of life that day in the attacks, 3,000 or so.
But I wonder what the actual Total will be, with all the police,
fire fighters, and civilians that have died, or that are still dying
of illness' caused by the airborn stuff many breathed in.
The Total is rising as every year goes by... :(

I remember the first plane hitting and thinking this was a mistake, when the second hit I knew it was an attack. Never to be forgotten.

I have American friends that are of the muslim faith and they also know this was an attack of their freedom and belief.

United we stand, divided we fall. Never forget.
