Two days on the brakes 4 Attachment(s)
Just spent two days at Mike Hubbards place, doing the stock brakes. All new oversized pins, the drums and pads were fine, But it was 103 degrees, he is 79, I am 59, he ran me into the ground, I wanted to stop but he just kept going, finding little things to work on, grease gun on all fittings, new front bearings, redid all the steering, on and on. Last night was rare thunder, lightening, wind storm, heat wave and then pounding rain and a power outage. He ran out at 3 am to cover up the tools, and stayed out there for an hour, checking out Gods handiwork and tooling around. Then today a fire started up on San Banancio Canyon, evacuation: maybe... Crazy days lately

Re: Two days on the brakes At the base of Mt Diablo in Danville saw your same light show and heavy downpours. Very impressive. Love your pictures and the shop. I have a friend on here that may lead a group this way if we ever get the chance. I own the 29 roadster that belonged to the late Allan Funt and am interested in helping him make his tour north memorable for him and his members. If you or any of your members in the Monterey Area have an interest in working with us, give me a PM and we'll see where it goes. Hope you get that fire out soon. Dave Mc Arthur
