Or you could use it as turn light.

Re: Headlight bulb

Not familiar with a 10 cp bulb , why not just use the #67 bulb for drl

Some States ban driving with parking lights only.

I change the bulbs from 3cp to 10cp. MUCH brighter and will fire a thermal flasher if needed. I can't remember the number though without running out and looking.

Just wondering. Has anyone used the headlight as turn indicators? Not the parking lights but the normal headlight bulbs used for night driving. It would get people's attention. There is probably some law against doing that.

We used to do that with the old Volkswagen bugs. Shave the turn signal off the top of the fender, then use the parking light in the headlight can as the turn signal. Problem is that if the headlight is on (like at night) you can't see the small signal bulb, even if there amber colored bulbs.
Still did it on EVERY bug that I've owened just because it looks so much better but you just need to remember that most likley people comming at you cannot see your signal.

If you try to use it as a turn light the brightness of the main bulb will make it difficult to see.

Yep, thats for sure. Using the cowls too makes up up for it. I also don't drive it much at night.
