Despite the virus delays we are making more heads, blocks, headers, etc...

Here is just one skid of Thomas and Winfield iron heads shaken out today. More stuff to be poured soon.

Wow Tod! You are becoming a regular factory cranking them out. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. I always seem to make just a couple short of what I need.

I have several OHV orders to fill as well as being behind on blocks. Good problem to have.

What's the story on the OHV?
Is it complete, or DIY valve gear?

It will be sold complete. In the testing mode right now, with one ready for an engine that is being assembled just for this and I have castings in house waiting to machine, and more sand to cast more. Mainly iron.

OK. Thanks.
There was a Riley 2 port sold here in Oz in the 70's and early 80's called the Jenkins.
It was just a bare head and I don't think many were ever completed. You had to try to adapt some valve gear to it yourself.

Re: More head casting progress...

Back in the '70s it was common to adapt all sorts of rocker assemblies to aftermarket heads, have seen a few different "adaptations".
But, something I am finding more of are castings that have never been finished.
This last year, I found a Moller and a Gemsa/Morales, never finished. These will make some nice pieces soon.
The other side of the equation, I have had a few butched up jobs brought over to see if I could fix them. They were too far gone unfortunately.

The shortcomings of the early castings are well known, correcting them could make for a nice little product.

Winfield heads being machined, iron Thomas not shown yet, and pictures of the new stock top crow foot head sitting on the latest 3 main iron block casting. The machining of the first stock top crow foot head is coming along nicely.

More castings to be made soon.

Looking good.
Do the stock top heads have a lower compression?

Beautiful craftsmanship! I’ll bet Henry never dreamed his lady would endure in this way.

I'm in the prototyping stage right now. The first ones would be pretty expensive, but, if these follow the same kind of low demand that my other heads have, they will probably be at $525 plus shipping. Right now they would be $625, but all of the first run are spoken for.

18-1900 range. The more I can do, the less the price will be.
