Is Les Andrews still around?
 

First off let me say that I mean no disrespect to the man but I've been admiring the wonderful books that he's published and I can't help but wonder if he's still doing what he loves to do or has he moved onto something else....?

Last December (2019) Les was scheduled to make a presentation at the MAFCA membership meet in Clairmont, California. A few days before the event Les suffered a Medical problem that prevented him from attending. I was at the meet and was looking forward to seeing him again. Word is that he recovered and is fine. As far as I know Les is alive and healthy.

Very cool Tom, thanks for the info. Do you know if he ever post on this forum or not? I hope to meet Les some day and shake his hand and thank him for all that he's done in the hobby. I know that without his books I'd be lost for sure. Take care everyone.

A friend from Auburn told me he's doing fine,still fixing cars.He's a nice person,soft spoken and unassuming for those who wonder what he's like.

I received his book as a Fathers Day gift shortly after I got my car.. Could not be a nicer gift for a newbie Model A person.

I must say Tom Endy is in the same class. Many wonderful articles all on line and for free.
