Club members had these. Do not buy one they returned them. The quality is poor. :(

I have f100 steering conversions for sale, rebuilt boxes, one piece steering shafts (not welded up shafts, bolt in using stock horn rod and light switch. 1930-1931. $675.00 pay pal only. 1928-1929 same price but need your steering box to do the conversion. you can call for more info. 408 722 2518.

Merle. I have never, never, never heard anything good about these boxes. Here is an article from the Hamb. Read for yourself and decide. Good luck whichever way you go.

I had an EZ box in my PU for a while. It turned out to be an $800 POS. (Not one of my better acquisitions!) Took it out and now have one of Miss Victoria's F100 boxes in it and couldn't be happier with it.

If you have the 2-tooth steering,then rebuild it & modify it for needle sector brgs & needle thrust washer to replace the brass washer,install a short pitman arm & teflon ball seats & new steering balls & you will be amazed at how easy it will steer.I wouldnt trade mine for an F-100 unit.

I bought the rebuilt box from Snyders for my 2 tooth. It was totally rebuilt and adjusted for I think $425. and exchange. It has the needle bearing mods. All I had to do was bolt it in and go. I also swichted to the short pitman arm. HUGE difference! I can actually keep it on the road now and no shimming.

You say you need my steering box (I've got a '29 closed cab pickup). The steering box and column seem to be one piece. Do you need the whole thing? Also, what is the total cost (including shipping), I live in Washington state.

I agree with ColumbiA , if you properly rebuild the steering components ( steering arms, tie rod ends, steering box, etcc) and do everything properly,use the steer -eze kit, you would be surprised how easy they can steer. I will add one more thing... Tires! Firestones, Goodyears steer much better than junk tires like Garfields, etc. I have had a number of our local guys ( inlcuding Terry Oberer) compain of hard steering and they tried out my firestones on their car and were amazed. I'll never forget the day Terry Oberer took his out with the new tires, he couldn't wait to call me and tell me he had power steering! Be sure your toe in and front end are properly aligned as well. All the details add up. Not to slant the guys who do the F100 mods.... but personally I wouldn't trade one of the other boxes for my original.
