Australian 1954 Fords retained the Flathead V8 Engine

Note the position of the front wheel is not central to the cut-out on the Australian 1954 Fords, as they were built on the 52-53 Chassis with the 115" Wheel Base while the USA Built models were on a new 115.5" WB Chassis

Australian 1936 Ford Tail Light Mounts. The Extended Mount was required in New South Wales, so that both Tail Lights could be seen at the same time from the side. without the Spare Wheel blocking the view. It was a NSW Law only. Other States got the regular length Mounts. Check the underside, and you can see the added section.
