1936 Transmission Access cover gasket

Does anyone reproduce the foam gasket that was originally between the transmission access cover and the floor pan? I see folks like Macs and Bob Drake list these for '37 and up, but not for '36. Also, there's a foam gasket at the back of the transmission near where the clamshell bolts. Anyone have any ideas on where to get that gasket?

Thanks,
Jay

I could not find one when I worked on a 36, went to hobby lobby and bought a sheet of foam that had sticky on one side and made my own

The 35-36 transmission access cover does not have a gasket. While making one can be done, it is not how they were built.

Gary, Are you sure? I have an original '36 5W that clearly had a gasket on the access cover. This is a late '36 if that makes a difference.

Here's a pic of the car. 40k original miles, never apart....that I can tell.

My 36 pickup had a rubbery foam hunk under the cover on top of the transmission around the shift tower but it was too deteriorated to save for a pattern. It's a very original vehicle.
